Adjustable rake is a configuration decision
Match the selected range
The supplied guillotine table lists model-specific rake-angle ranges: 0.5–1.5°, 0.5–2°, 0.5–2.5°, 0.5–3° and 0.5–3.5°. Confirm the setting method for the selected machine.
Prove the required cut
Use the actual grade and both typical and maximum thicknesses. Agree the setup and inspect the finished strip or plate; a rake-angle range alone does not certify cut straightness or burr condition.
Read each geometric limit separately
| Source dimension | What to review |
|---|---|
| Cutting width | Plate dimension along the blade; select an actual model row. |
| Backgauge 600–1000 mm | Repeated blank dimension and positioning access. |
| Throat 80 mm | The source’s frame clearance; check any workpiece reach requirement. |
| Overall dimensions | Machine footprint plus plate-handling and access space. |

The 7000 mm cutting-width reference belongs to 7×7000. The 25 mm reference belongs to 25×2500. Confirm the selected material rating, controller, blade-gap setting scope and supports.
Acceptance from setup to downstream forming
- 01
Prepare the cut list
Define material and finished blank sizes.
- 02
Confirm setup
Agree rake, blade gap and positioning procedure for the chosen machine.

Questions to settle before ordering
Is 3.5° available on every model?
No. The supplied adjustable range varies by model.
Does the 7000 mm model also cut 25 mm plate?
No. The listed 7000 mm entry is 7×7000; 25 mm is listed at 2500 mm width.
How is it different from a swing-beam shear?
The source describes guided downward blade movement rather than a controlled arc, and supplies adjustable rake ranges.
Does the table confirm the control package?
No. Agree controller, blade-gap setting and supports in the quotation.
How should cut quality be approved?
Trial representative material and inspect the agreed dimensions, edge and downstream fit.
