Review the continuous overlap joint
Electrode wheel access
Provide the overlap drawing, material and workpiece geometry. Review wheel access, support and the required joint condition before choosing FN-35 or FN-50.
Compare the supplied plate pairing
| Model | Rated capacity | Plate pairing |
|---|---|---|
| FN-35 | 35 KVA | 1 + 1 mm |
| FN-50 | 50 KVA | 1.5 + 1.5 mm |

| Electrode Arm Length | 400 mm | 400 mm |
| Electrode Arm Spacing | 250 mm | 250 mm |
| Rated Input Capacity | 35 KVA | 50 KVA |
| Control Range | 0.8–3.2 s | 0.8–3.2 s |
| Net Weight* | 150 kg | 190 kg |
| Max. Plate Application | 1.0 + 1.0 mm | 1.5 + 1.5 mm |
| Machine Size | 950 × 430 × 1160 mm | 950 × 430 × 1160 mm |
| Listed Weight (second value)* | 200 kg | 200 kg |
The table supplies net weight of 150/190 kg and a separate 200 kg weight entry. Confirm what the latter represents. Plate pairing requires material and weld-sample confirmation.

Joint strength
Agree the required inspection for the intended application.
Surface condition
Review wheel marks, heat effects and the required finish.
Sealing requirement
If a leak test is required, define it explicitly. A continuous weld description alone does not guarantee a leak-tight product.
Questions to settle before ordering
Is a continuous seam automatically leak-tight?
No. Define and approve any required leak test.
What do the plate pairings mean?
They are the supplied model references; confirm grade and actual joint by trial.
Which weight should I use for transport?
The table has net and separate weight entries. Confirm packed weight and dimensions.
Does rated KVA define production output?
No. Review settings, duty, handling and accepted joint quality.
What should I send for selection?
Material, overlap, workpiece geometry, joint tests and site supply.
